Who we are

This site is operated by Grant Higgins, doing business as Tattooed Grin, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Questions about this policy can be sent to tattooedgrin@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Lesson inquiries. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, instrument, experience level and message.
• Purchases. When you buy a single, checkout is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe passes us your email address and the amount paid, so we can deliver your download and send a receipt.
• Downloads. Download links are generated per purchase and expire after ten minutes. No account or password is required.
• Site usage. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool we host ourselves, to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and does not collect personal information. We do not run advertising trackers or set analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use this information to reply to lesson inquiries, deliver purchased music and receipts, and keep the site secure. A hidden field on the contact form helps us catch automated spam; anything caught this way is discarded, not stored or emailed.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of service providers to run the site, each acting only on our instructions and never for their own marketing:

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Cloudflare R2, to store and deliver purchased audio files.
• Resend, to send receipt and download emails.
• Vercel, to host the site.

Cookies

We do not set marketing or analytics cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally to remember interface preferences; this never leaves your device.

Data retention

Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by emailing tattooedgrin@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version.
